Established in 2016, FESICH boasts a membership of over 1,500 producers hailing from the Jaltenango region of Chiapas state, nestled in the southernmost part of Mexico adjacent to Guatemala. The distinct and intricate cup profile of their coffee is attributed to the varied landscape and elevations of the area. Coffee cultivation takes place on hillsides intertwined with native flora and fruit-bearing trees, contributing to its unique flavor profile.
